I’m Chris Cramer — business strategist by day, band guy by night, and full-time storyteller in between. Based in Northern Colorado, I bring over two decades of experience in brand strategy, business development, and marketing leadership across restoration, construction, finance, and more industries than my resume has room for. If it's got a growth problem, I solve it — with a whiteboard in one hand and a coffee (or maybe bourbon) in the other.
But before I was charting multi-channel campaigns and building high-conversion funnels, I was a kid from Lockport, New York — a place where winters are long, people are tough, and the Bills are a religion. Growing up near Niagara Falls taught me two things: nature is powerful, and so is momentum — both things I try to bring into business and life.
I’ve since lived in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Georgia, Michigan, and for the last 14 years, I've called Colorado home. It’s where I’ve planted roots, raised a family, and attempted to master the delicate art of grilling at altitude. Each place I've lived taught me something new: Kentucky gave me charm, Georgia gave me grit, Michigan gave me Motown, and Colorado gave me mountains, elk sightings, and a surprisingly strong appreciation for kombucha (don’t ask).
I'm a proud father of two sons — now 25 and 20 — who are sharper, funnier, and more tech-savvy than I ever was at their age. They keep me inspired, and occasionally confused about slang. I recently married my soulmate — the woman who makes every part of life sweeter, steadier, and way more fun. Together, we’ve created a home filled with laughter, adventure, good wine, and excellent playlists.
Speaking of playlists: I play in three different bands. Why three? Because two isn’t enough and four would be a scheduling nightmare. Whether it's blues, classic rock, or a little acoustic Americana, music is my therapy. I've played bars, backyards, breweries, and once even a baby shower (long story — great gig, though). My garage has more amps than lawn tools, and I don’t regret a thing.
In my spare time — which is a mythical concept, but I pursue it anyway — I enjoy fishing (mostly for peace and solitude), golfing (mostly to remind myself I’m not as athletic as I once thought), and traveling (anywhere with great culture and even better cocktails). I still bartend from time to time because I believe life is best served with a smile and a good pour. Plus, it keeps my people skills sharp — and my bar stories sharper.
Now, let’s talk obsessions. I'm a Montreal Canadiens fan through thick and thin (and recent seasons have tested that loyalty). I cheer for the Buffalo Bills with the hopeful optimism of a man who’s learned to love a team that breaks his heart and then buys him wings. And the Toronto Blue Jays? Well, they’re my summer soundtrack. I like my sports like I like my whiskey — aged, storied, and occasionally painful.
And yes, I’m a lover of fine spirits and wine. My bar cart is a curated museum of good decisions and great nights. I believe in sipping slowly, toasting often, and never trusting a man who drinks tequila from a plastic cup. I’m also a cigar aficionado. There’s nothing like a slow draw and deep conversation on a patio at sunset to make you feel like you’ve figured life out — or at least that it can wait until tomorrow.
I’m a firm believer that leadership is about service, business should be built on relationships, and authenticity wins every time. Whether I’m closing a deal, closing out a set on stage, or just closing the cooler after a lake day with the family, I try to show up fully — with gratitude, humor, and a willingness to keep learning.
So if you're looking for a seasoned business strategist who also sings all the time and plays a mean bass guitar, knows the best single malt for every mood, can hold court at the bar or the boardroom, and won’t stop believing the Bills will win it all this year — you’ve found him.
